Although the World Health Organization has declared the European Continent free of Malaria, which makes it the first continent that has eradicated local transmission of the virus, moving in two decades from 90.712 cases detected in 1995 to zero cases in 2015, this scenario is not so encouraging for the rest of the regions, including Latin America and the Caribbean.

Hence it is important that national responses to this disease  have enough resources to achieve a better impact against this epidemic.  The LAC Platform makes these documents available aimed at strengthening the skills to prepare concept notes for the GF and resource mobilization.
