Community systems strengthening
The framework of Community Systems Strengthening (SSC) developed for the first time in 2010 by the Global Fund, civil society organizations and other partners in development, has helped the applicants to delimit, define and quantify more clearly, the initiatives to strengthen this work area. It has also helped those who foster the support to community responses to state the importance of the SSC in the negotiation with national disease programs, the country coordinating mechanisms (CCMs) and the organizations for grant implementation.
