Indicators for monitoring the 2016 Political Declaration on Ending AIDS — Global AIDS Monitoring 2021 describes in greater detail the steps for collecting, analyzing, sharing and reporting the data. The document highlights that “The involvement of civil society in the national consultation is critical, especially for responding to questions related to laws and policies, and for ensuring that all relevant partners are engaged and play their important roles in implementation and reporting.”
