Type of Document: Technical guidelines

Description:Ā  The national strategic plan for HIV (NSP) is a mid-term (3–5 years) guide for the national multisectoral response to HIV. In the absence of a comprehensive global guidance document for developing NSPs, this checklist and reference list is meant to highlight the quality requirements in critical areas of response to HIV, as the current knowledge and technology permits. It serves the immediate needs of the developers and key partners in countries who are developing a new NSP, review of a current NSP or to link with the time-sensitive development or negotiation of funding requests from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
