Today, after 44 years, and on every corner of the world, female sex workers continue claiming a comprehensive recognition of our human, labor, social and economic rights.

When states fail to approve laws that guarantee our rights, we are forced to work underground, under illegal conditions and subject to police and judicial persecution. This situation promotes discrimination and social stigma.

Just like every year, we claim the approval of a Sex Work Law that would foster respect for our lives, our bodies and our work. We decided to be sex workers by exerting the autonomy we have over our body. This decision must be respected, but, to this end, we need a regulatory framework that recognizes our rights and establishes obligations for our activity.
