Description: The modular approach is used by the Global Fund to organize programmatic and financial information about each grant throughout its life cycle, from the initial funding request from grant-making to implementation. The approach was introduced with the new funding model and was implemented during the first year of the 2014-2016 allocation cycle. This handbook reflects the updated framework that will be used starting from January 2017. Modules have been updated to align with the new Global Fund strategy and in consultation with partners.
