{"id":6485,"date":"2018-07-19T21:33:48","date_gmt":"2018-07-20T01:33:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/plataformalac.org\/?p=6485"},"modified":"2018-07-19T21:33:48","modified_gmt":"2018-07-20T01:33:48","slug":"regional-meeting-on-public-financing-of-civil-society-for-the-provision-of-health-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/plataformalac.org\/en\/2018\/07\/regional-meeting-on-public-financing-of-civil-society-for-the-provision-of-health-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Regional meeting on public financing of civil society for the provision of health services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On June 11-12, 2018, <span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">was held in Mexico City t<\/span><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">he &#8220;Regional Meeting on Public Financing of Civil Society for the Provision of Health Services: Advances, Challenges, and Lessons Learned in Latin America and the Caribbean&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Organized by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, the meeting aimed to analyze the\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">region\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">experiences in the derived from public funding to CSOs for the provision of health services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Some of the issues addressed were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current Situation: International and regional commitments to expand national responses to AIDS and Tuberculosis. Review of relevant commitments: Agenda 2030 and SDG3, Strategy of the FM, Strategy of UNAIDS, Political Declaration 2016.
