{"id":6421,"date":"2018-07-19T05:22:34","date_gmt":"2018-07-19T09:22:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/plataformalac.org\/?p=6421"},"modified":"2018-07-19T05:22:34","modified_gmt":"2018-07-19T09:22:34","slug":"after-six-years-of-implementation-redtrasex-has-presented-its-projects-outcomes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/plataformalac.org\/en\/2018\/07\/after-six-years-of-implementation-redtrasex-has-presented-its-projects-outcomes\/","title":{"rendered":"After Six Years of Implementation, RedTraSex Has Presented its Project\u2019s Outcomes"},"content":{"rendered":"<h5><strong>RedTraSex\u2019s project called \u201cFemale Sex Workers from Latin America and the Caribbean Working to Create Alternatives to Help Reduce their Vulnerability to HIV\u201d began to be implemented six years ago (from February 1<sup>st<\/sup> 2012 to February 1<sup>st<\/sup> 2018), and this female sex workers organization has recently published its project management report.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIn 2011, after several attempts, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria approved a regional proposal for the Women Sex Workers\u2019 Network (RedTraSex). At that time, it was an unprecedented fact which marked the beginning of a new era which lasted six years, with numerous challenges, but also great achievements.\u201d This is how RedTraSex\u2019s report begins. The document describes how the organization won funding from Round 10 of the Global Fund and started implementing in 2012 a 12.5-million-dollar project.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6419\" src=\"http:\/\/plataformalac.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Informe-Redtrasex-foto.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"547\" height=\"497\" srcset=\"https:\/\/plataformalac.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Informe-Redtrasex-foto.png 547w, https:\/\/plataformalac.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Informe-Redtrasex-foto-300x273.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 547px) 100vw, 547px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>The project was closed in 2018, with an efficient resource management which allowed them to achieve the objectives set for five years and continue implementing the project for one more year thanks to savings they had made.
