It examines investments that the Global Fund has made in reproductive, maternal, newborn, and adolescence health (RMNCAH) through the new funding model (NFM) launched in 2013. Likewise, it points out how investments specific to HIV disease, tuberculosis and malaria have impacted the health of women and children, as well as how investments in strengthening the health system (HSS) are working to build resilient health systems for all. It also summarizes the recommendations for programming more in line with gender needs within the framework of the NFM. Part 2: Innovative Alliances. It underlines the progress achieved since the beginning of several innovative partnerships for country level of co-funding under the NFM, providing several examples of successful countries so far.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5\">The document ends by briefly pointing out how the Global Fund will ensure the continuity of investments in women and children, as it is starting to develop its new strategy, and it highlights how the strategy fits into the broader global scenario for RMNCAH investments.
