However, it continues to provide support for countries and communities to respond to these changes. The Global Fund has employed a two-pronged approach: temporarily pausing select components of grant implementation until funds are received and reducing a portion of national grants while reassessing and reprioritizing key interventions. The original Jamaica Global Fund Grant Cycle 7 (GC7), 2025-2027, grant was reduced from USD$15,423,239 to USD $13,232,666. This indicates a14.2% reduction in the total allocation. A key principle in the reprioritization process is the promotion of inclusive and transparent decision making.
