On 12 December, get ready to join us in calling for investments in resilient and equitable health systems that\u00a0leave no one behind. Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Day is around the corner!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The COVID-19 pandemic is an ongoing reckoning for health systems around the world. We\u2019ve seen time and again that health is foundational to progress across all the Sustainable Development Goals, from gender equality to education to poverty eradication. The case for universal health coverage has never been stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No matter where you are in the world, you can show your support for the movement for #HealthForAll\u2014which goes beyond just UHC, all year round. This year\u2019s UHC Day activities will culminate in a 24-hour virtual rally on 12.12.21, when advocates around the world will amplify the call to action:\u00a0Leave No One\u2019s Health Behind: Invest in Health Systems for All<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you gear up for UHC Day activities, explore this new resource for civil society advocates from CSEM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Health for All Advocacy Toolkit <\/em>has been developed to build capacity, inspire and mobilize civil society in support of the global movement for UHC. The Toolkit is designed to be used by civil society advocates who are interested in learning more about what universal health coverage means; what commitments have been made to UHC at the global, regional, and country levels; and how they can incorporate UHC principles into their advocacy. The resources may also be useful for CSOs advocating on specific health issues or on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) beyond health, as the Toolkit provides information on how connecting to UHC advocacy can strengthen those efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Share your story of universal health coverage & what it means in your life. <\/a>
 UHC2030 is asking for contributions ‘The State of UHC Commitment’ multi-stakeholder review, which will be released around UHC Day. As part of this monitoring, we want to tell the stories of people in your country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UHC2030 is soliciting stories from all countries. We are interested in collecting stories from individuals in vulnerable groups that are at risk of being \u2018left behind\u2019, such as Indigenous peoples, migrants, refugees, Internally Displaced Persons, older adults, unhoused people, non-formal workers, LGBTQI communities, or persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Data shared will only be used for our synthesis report and online country profiles. We will not include the names of the people who submit stories unless the individual storyteller includes this information themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
