{"id":12137,"date":"2021-03-17T21:49:23","date_gmt":"2021-03-18T01:49:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/plataformalac.org\/?p=12137"},"modified":"2021-05-31T15:35:58","modified_gmt":"2021-05-31T19:35:58","slug":"the-global-fund-that-we-still-want","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/plataformalac.org\/en\/2021\/03\/the-global-fund-that-we-still-want\/","title":{"rendered":"The Global Fund That We Still Want"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>A call for global&nbsp;solidarity&nbsp; <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Global Fund That We Still Want<\/strong> Statement is an&nbsp;outcome of 14 community and civil society consultations on the Post-2022 Global Fund Strategy held in Asia-Pacific&nbsp;(AP) from December 2020 through February 2021, led and supported by APCASO, host of the Asia-Pacific CRG&nbsp; Platform (APCRG), and GFAN AP, in partnership with AP regional and country HIV, TB, and malaria community and CS networks and organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While this Statement aims to capture the positions of community and civil society in Asia-Pacific, many of its key&nbsp;asks are similar to the positions of the community and civil society in our LAC region, including t<strong>he&nbsp;need for the Global Fund to continue investing in community system strengthening (CSS) and community, rights and gender (CRG).&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement has also been translated into multiple languages: French, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Vietnamese.
