It has also published an updated Projected Transitions List, identifying countries it expects to transition from Global Fund allocations, with projections by disease component.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobalfund.org\/media\/9016\/core_eligiblecountries2020_list_en.pdf?u=637104488090000000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2020 Eligibility List<\/a>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobalfund.org\/media\/9017\/core_projectedtransitionsby2028_list_en.pdf?u=637104488100000000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">updated Projected Transitions List<\/a>&nbsp;are accessible on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobalfund.org\/en\/funding-model\/before-applying\/eligibility\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Global Fund&#8217;s website<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GFO will publish a more detailed analysis of the 2020 Eligibility List and the updated Projected Transitions List in a future edition. In the meantime, we summarize here the main changes in both lists below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Countries and components with changes in eligibility<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The countries and components with changes in eligibility include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Armenia (HIV, TB)<\/li><li>Bulgaria (HIV)<\/li><li>Cuba (HIV)<\/li><li>Fiji [no component listed but there is only one grant, for TB]<\/li><li>Guatemala (malaria, TB)<\/li><li>Guyana (malaria)<\/li><li>Iraq (TB)<\/li><li>Kosovo (HIV, TB)<\/li><li>Nauru (TB)<\/li><li>North Macedonia (HIV),<\/li><li>Romania (HIV),<\/li><li>Russia (HIV),<\/li><li>Suriname (TB),<\/li><li>Tajikistan (malaria) and<\/li><li>Turkmenistan (TB)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For further information, see pg. 10-11 of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobalfund.org\/media\/9016\/core_eligiblecountries2020_list_en.pdf?u=637104488090000000\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2020 eligibility list<\/a>).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Countries and components that have been added to the projected transitions list<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Global Fund\u2019s updated list of projected transitions is in the form of a PDF document on the Global Fund website,&nbsp;<em>Projected Transitions from Global Fund country allocations by 2028: projections by component<\/em>.
